The audience of 90 Day Fiance has taken a quick liking to the new couple on the block, Justin and Nikki. After giving their love another go, the two have dubbed themselves Barbie and Ken.
Nikki and Justin’s current look wasn’t always the same, though. Both have had surgery to achieve their current appearances. Fans of the couple, however, have been mostly interested in Nikki’s procedures. People are curious to learn more as the transgender celebrity has stated that the operations cost a significant sum of money.
90 Day Fiance: Nikki Spills The Beans About Her Surgical Procedures
The first transgender star on 90 Day Fiance is Nikki Exotika. The 47-year-old had to undergo surgery far too frequently to get her current appearance. For Nikki, the frequency of cosmetic procedures was so great that it might as well have been an addiction.
When Nikki (then Nicole Sanders) was eighteen, she remembered having her first operation. She declared that the rhinoscopy was “so painful” and that she would never want to undergo another treatment. She subsequently “couldn’t stop” herself from pursuing her quest for excellence, though.
To achieve her ‘Barbie’ look, Nikki also got various other cosmetic surgeries done. She recalled getting calf implants in 1995 and being “probably one of the first people to do so.” Then, for further modifications, she got an eye-color changing surgery and temporal lifts to get the “cat-eye” look.
Adding to the 90 Day Fiance star’s mammoth list of cosmetic surgeries are butt implants, breast augmentation, Adam’s apple removal and Botox Injections. The list goes on to include dental work, even jaw, chin, and cheek implants. Then there is eyebrow microblading, hair extensions, and even tanning.
To change her appearance to a more feminine one, Nikki also had a facial feminization surgery. She then shaved her forehead/bone brow and had an endoscopic brow lift. With all the surgery scars, Nikki needed to get hair transplants over the said scars. Then, she went on to more nose jobs, liposuction, and silicone injections, and all of this culminated in a gender-reassignment surgery at 20 years old.
To make the people understand why she did it, the 47-year-old trans star said on the October 8 episode of 90 Day Fiance, “You can’t expect a woman to have all these curves naturally.” She also told the audience how she had tried to calculate the amount she had spent on all these surgeries. Nikki recalled having “gallons of silicone” in her body and having spent millions on it as well.
90 Day Fiance: Nikki Hadn’t Told Justin About Her Transition
Nikki and Justin make quite a pair to look at. The new TLC stars are in a relationship with each other for a second time. And the 90 Day Fiance viewers got to know where it all went wrong the first time around.
When the couple first dated about two decades back, they faced some issues. Nikki recalled having a lot of fights with Justin over his lay behavior and lack of willingness to help with the household work. She also said that the arguments grew in number and became more tense and heated.
Nikki is transgender, but she had been keeping it a secret from Justin during their ‘first’ relationship. But her secret didn’t last long, and it was revealed during one of the couple’s fights when Nikki lashed out. Nikki told the camera that she remembered arguing – “Well, I have a secret to tell you – I used to be a man”.
After learning about Nikki’s gender identification, Justin experienced trauma and depressive symptoms. Justin found this to be so difficult to manage that he ended the relationship and called it quits on their engagement.
