Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) isn’t a pushover, according to General Hospital spoilers. Without the ability to stomach her misdeeds, one cannot get away with working as a double agent for the DVX and WSB.
She is beginning to worry, though, because her one and only lover, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), is the only person with any credible connection to the WSB who is tied to her, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and the Pikeman Group.
Certainly, there is non way Valentin is on board with someone targeting Anna’s life. But he doesn’t seem all that concerned about the shooting at the Metro Court.
As she continues to put the pieces of this puzzle together and finds he is the common denominator, will she have the nerve to call him out on it?
All Roads Point To Valentin Cassadine
No matter how desperately Anna wishes it weren’t true, every path she follows will lead her back to Valentin. How did he end up involved in all of this, and how far back does it go?
Was he connected to the WSB before Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) decided to pursue Anna, or is this all a part of a plan Victor put into action that Valentin is unable to stop?
Report Anna DeVane’s Heartbreak Is Her Weakness
When Anna found out that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) may have been her son, and believed that he was, she was beside herself with grief.
Knowing what he had done, she just wanted him to have a true second chance at life. She hid his crimes from the people who had always mattered most to her while covering for him, and he didn’t even know it for the longest time.
Has she learned her lesson from that experience or will we see Anna make a desperate attempt to protect Valentin should Sonny find out he was setting him up with Pikeman on purpose?
Sonny Corinthos Isn’t Safe
As soon as she learns what is happening, Anna will need to alert Sonny in some way, but would it also entail letting him know who is involved?
Anna has known Sonny for a long time, and despite his run-ins with the law, she respects him. Valentin has never really expressed that sentiment about the lobster, but he acted as if he could spot a potential economic opportunity.
