General Hospital spoilers hint that as Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) fights for his life in the ICU, more peril could be headed his way.
Cyrus Renault Wants To Send A Strong Message
According to GH teasers, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will attend a meeting later this week. Could Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) be that “someone”?
Due to his employment as a doctor at the facility, Austin has a “in” there. Little do his coworkers realize that he also “works” for Cyrus.
Renault was curious enough to check Drew’s pulse after beating him up in the shower and seemed almost shocked that he was still alive.
Yes, he did summon guards for assistance, but he also took his sweet time. As Cyrus and Gatlin-Holt struggle to conceal their partnership, Drew was nosing around, asking questions about Austin and who he was visiting at the prison recently.
If Drew is dead, there is no more worry about anyone “being around” to ask questions about Austin.
Will Austin Gatlin-Holt Do As He’s Told?
Austin isn’t exactly a “good” guy, but not a “bad” guy, either. If Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) could gain access to Drew, he’d be the guy Cyrus asks to “finish” the job, but as Austin works in the hospital, and may even end up being a doctor who works on Drew as a patient, if the request will be handed down to him.
Can Austin do this? He’s done some pretty unethical things in the past, but killing a man is crossing the line (even if it is simply pulling an oxygen plug or not giving him a dose of antibiotics to fight an infection).
However, viewers are aware that despite the fact that Cyrus has been lying to his friend, the doctor still deeply cares about Ava Jerome (Maura West).
If he doesn’t follow orders, Renault can threaten him with another form of blackmail.
