General Hospital spoilers indicates that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is on a mission. Although he says he has found faith in prison, that doesn’t seem to be the mission he is on. He has a problem with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and he wants to take him down. Is he going to succeed?
Reason for His Feud
Mayor Laura Spencer (Genie Francis), Cyrus’s sister, hears him say that he doesn’t understand why Sonny is treated with such reverence. Even though they are both mafia leaders, Sonny exudes distinction in Port Charles. Despite the fact that the Feds appear to be watching him, in large part because of tips from Cyrus, he has not been proven guilty.
Cyrus believes Sonny has everything. He has several family members and friends in the city. They look out for him, and he looks out for them. Cyrus is envious of Sonny’s relationships because they are something Cyrus can only imagine.
Cyrus also notes that this is true of his own sister. He wonders why Sonny has Laura’s friendship and support. She expresses that they have been friends for a long time, and she trusts Sonny. Cyrus says that when he is out of jail, he hopes that he can build a similar relationship with his sister.
While he was in prison, he gave away all his money to support recidivism programs. He wanted to make a statement with this action. Cyrus wants her to be awed by his generosity. She is skeptical.
Who Will Come Out on Top?
Cyrus wants to mess with Sonny’s life as much as possible. He gathered information about Sonny’s operation with Pikeman that he believed to be accurate and gave it to the warden. She gave that to the federal agents. It turned apparent that Sonny had planted false information.
Ava Jerome (Maura West) is currently under Cyrus’s lock and key. Mason Gatlin-Holt, Nathaniel Grey’s lackey, was in charge of organizing this.
What is his strategy with her? Mason is to blame, according to Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), Sonny’s right-hand man. Will he be able to get Ava back before Sonny returns from his wedding? How do you feel? When Sonny learns that his family is being targeted, what will he do?
