Spencer Cassadine isn’t happy with Esme’s sudden moving plans.

General Hospital spoilers for November 9, 2023, tease action, betrayal, turmoil and so much more. You won’t want to miss a moment of this brand-new episode.

General Hospital Spoiler Highlights

Esme (Avery Pohl) dropped a whammy on Laura (Genie Francis) earlier this week. She wants to move out of Laura’s place with Ace (Joey and Jay Clay) because of her feelings for Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez). The mayor’s immediate reaction? Her grandson isn’t going to take the news as calmly as she did.

Sure enough, Spencer’s feeling betrayed. He’s probably good with Esme taking a hike, but there’s no way he wants to be separated from his brother. In addition, how will he react to the news his grandmother offered to pay for Esme’s rent? More importantly, how will Ace’s absence from the Collins’s penthouse affect his relationship with Trina?

More Valentin and Anna Fallout

When Anna (Finola Hughes) accidentally shot Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez), all hell broke loose. Now she’s understandably torn up and feeling an overwhelming amount of guilt. But she doesn’t know Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) knows his teenage daughter targeted Anna before this break-in that went terribly wrong. Once she does, he’s in a world of trouble (we’ve seen GH’s weekly promo). So, until then, he’s treading carefully. Something tells us that he will not tread carefully enough.

While Valentin’s every move is laced with caution, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) is busy briefing Anna and Sonny (Maurice Benard). Does he have new information on Charlotte’s motive for breaking into Anna’s home? Or is he letting Anna know that she won’t be charged for what really is a tragic accident? Hopefully, both scenarios happen.

Quality Time with the Q’s

Look for the Quartermaines to once again keep things hopping. Look for Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) jumping into action. Since November’s always an explosive month for soaps, maybe this signals the beginning of the end for Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth). Is Ned about to resurface?

Meanwhile, Lois (Rena Sofer) gives her daughter a warning. A big topic of conversation between mother and daughter is Tracy’s (Jane Elliot) plans for giving Deception to Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton), who isn’t remotely receptive to the idea. Mostly because she’s 100% committed to her music career and she doesn’t want to hurt Maxie and Lucy even more. But also because she doesn’t trust her grandmother. Does Lois want Brook Lynn to rethink her initial urge to reject Tracy’s offering?
