GH spoilers hint there is far more than meets the eye when it comes to Mr. Brennan (Charles Mesure). As it stands, we know he’s behind Pikeman and the head of the WSB; however, there are so many moving parts to this entire storyline. Could he also have been behind the letters to Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez)?
Mr. Brennan Understands Human Behavior
According to GH spoilers, Brennan wouldn’t be where he is in life if it weren’t for deception and mind games. Being a former super spy, he is aware of how people behave. Should the intention have been to undermine Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), he might have anticipated a chance to manipulate Charlotte’s thoughts as the catalyst for everything.
Naturally, it has long been known that the letters brainwashing her against Anna were written by her grandfather Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy).
But maybe Brennan saw an opportunity to include the young girl in his scheme, so he faked the notes and presented them as having been written by her grandfather.
If Charlotte had received letters from an unknown source, she would have either told her Papa right away or shrugged it off as “creepy” or another lunatic trying to get between her and her dad, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
Addressing those letters as Victor’s words offered credibility and opened Charlotte’s mind to “listen” to reason. After all, Victor is her family.
Mr. Brennan Continues To Use Charlotte Cassadine
If Brennan wrote those letters to Charlotte, pretending to be Victor, fans will likely learn of this in the days and weeks ahead, and if this (and the young girl’s reaction) was all part of his plan, then he’ll probably continue to use Valentin’s daughter in some way.
He’s got a grander end game when it comes to Anna, as well as Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), so Charlotte may play an even bigger role in what’s up ahead.
Even if the Vanna relationship has utterly collapsed, actress Scarlett Fernandez hinted to Soap Opera Digest (SOD) that Charlotte isn’t quite “done” with Anna.
