According to General Hospital spoilers, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is in some serious hot water as things heat up in Port Charles. His double role as a mob enforcer is soon to be discovered by Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), and she won’t be happy about it.
However, instead of blowing the whistle on him, she wants him to be her secret weapon. Nina needs some backup of her own, and who better to turn to than Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) right-hand man? It’s up to Nina to keep her SEC informant status hush-hush, so she’ll rely on Dex to help keep her private business safe. With these two playing both sides, it’s only a matter of time before Sonny finds out, right?
Nina’s Anxiety is on High
Nina has managed to put herself in a bind. She had no idea that her decision to inform on Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to the SEC would set off the series of events that have occurred since. She never meant to hurt anyone, yet her choice has caused so many people harm.
And now that Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) is finally allowing her into her life, she stands to lose much more. The issue is that it has been challenging to conceal her role in this controversy. She worries incessantly that Sonny and Willow will discover what she done, and that the results could be devastating.
When Dex finds out what she’s been up to, she will panic — that is, until she comes into information on him at the same time. These two are going to dance around one another’s secrets in search of the best way to scratch each others’ backs.
GH Spoilers Leak Dex is a Double Agent
Thanks to Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) cunning strategies, Nina is shocked to learn that Dex has been secretly working with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). While it might seem that Sonny’s fiancee would be horrified to hear of Dex’s treachery, Nina couldn’t be happier. Knowing that Sonny has a devoted friend and servant on his side is wonderful.
However, Nina is well aware that Dex wants to keep his covert actions hidden from Sonny. Once she realizes that she has a bargaining chip with Dex, Nina will plan to take advantage of the situation and strongarm Dex into doing her dirty work, too.
Nina’s Big Ask
How could Dex possibly help Nina? All she needs is for him to make it look like Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) really did rat Carly and Drew out to the SEC. Everyone already believes he did. A little proof would go a long way in convincing everyone to drop it and stop nosing around.
Furthermore, since Ned believes he is Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth), he won’t truly be responsible for anything. Anything Ned did was of little concern to Eddie. A win-win situation, yes? Dex probably won’t see it that way, but he won’t have much of a position to bargain from.
