NCIS stars from four different shows have gathered for an epic crossover meeting as SAG-AFTRA actors continue to strike. The Hollywood actors’ strike has been ongoing for 20 days as actors fight for higher pay, residuals from streaming, and the regulation of AI in the industry. Actors from shows and movies alike have gathered on the picket line to fight for a better contract with studios part of the AMPTP.
Recently, Daniela Ruah posted a series of images to Instagram showing stars from four iterations of NCIS joining forces in an epic crossover meeting during the actors strike. Check them out below:

Ruah, who plays Kensi Blye in NCIS: Los Angeles, was joined by actors Brian Dietzen (NCIS), Scott Bakula (NCIS: New Orleans), and Kian Talan (NCIS: Hawaii), among others. Their solidarity shows that everyone in the NCIS franchise is equally invested in fighting for actors’ fair pay and treatment.
How The Actors Strike Is Impacting The NCIS Franchise
While the NCIS season 20 finale aired in May, the CBS show won’t come back for season 21 anytime soon because of the ongoing actors’ and writers’ strikes. The actors’ strike, in particular, prevents stars from the NCIS franchise from working on any shows nor discussing future plans for the series with media outlets. This means NCIS season 21 and NCIS: Hawaii season 3 are unlikely to have air dates confirmed until after the dual strikes are over.
Despite NCIS: New Orleans ending in 2021 and NCIS: Los Angeles finishing up this past May, actors from the series still reunited with other franchise stars on the actors’ strike picket line. This underscores the union between actors throughout SAG-AFTRA with their colleagues, even if they are no longer leading series in the NCIS universe. It also goes to show how much NCIS actors are supporting one another through the strike and subsequent shuttering of production for the franchise.
While both the actors and writers continue to strike at the picket lines, the AMPTP wants to negotiate with the WGA on Friday, signaling the writers’ strike could be taking a turn in a positive direction soon. As actors from the NCIS franchise support the strike, it’s still unclear when SAG-AFTRA and the AMPTP will sit down to negotiate a fair deal.
