After the double eviction, Big Brother’s week 13 Head of Household competition is played. Find out who has won and which houseguests they’ll target.

The Big Brother season 25 week 13 Head of Household (HOH) competition has been played, and its winner is Matt Klotz. Matt won the HOH competition on Thursday night after the double eviction in which Blue Kim and America Lopez were evicted. After HOH and Power of Veto winner Jag Bains targeted Blue (and the houseguests evicted her), Bowie Jane won the second HOH and nominated America and Felicia Cannon. Matt won the Power of Veto but didn’t use it, ensuring that America would be headed to the Big Brother 25 jury house.

The Big Brother 25 live feeds have revealed that Matt won the HOH competition, his first of the season. With Bowie ineligible to play as the outgoing HOH, Matt’s fellow competitors were Jag, Felicia, and Cirie Fields. Matt was thrilled to receive a photograph of his mom posing with evicted Big Brother 25 houseguest Reilly Smedley, with whom Matt had gotten very close before she was eliminated in week 2. Matt told his fellow houseguests that he guesses he has a girlfriend.

Which Big Brother 25 Houseguests Will Matt Target For Eviction?

Matt told Jag and Bowie that he won’t be nominating them for eviction this week, which means that Felicia and Cirie would be his targets. Matt has a Final 2 alliance with Jag called the Minutemen, and they’ve told Bowie that they have a Final 3 with her. However, Jag and Matt also have a Final 4 deal with Felicia and Cirie, so this will force them to make a choice between them and Bowie. Another interesting element in Matt’s decision is that he told Cirie he knows he’ll have to turn on Jag eventually, and he could see a path to the end of the game with her.

Matt’s best move might be to target Jag this week. If he doesn’t nominate him initially, it’s possible that Jag won’t win the Power of Veto, and then Matt could use him as a replacement nominee. The question for Matt will be if he trusts Bowie, Felicia, and Cirie enough to keep him safe in the next eviction when he’s ineligible for HOH. He’d also have to decide if he trusts Jag enough to do the same if Jag wins HOH. Jag has already turned on his allies Cameron Hardin and Blue Kim, so it’s possible that he might try to evict Matt before the finale to ensure his own win.

Matt will have to make an important decision. Matt and Jag are reminiscent of Big Brother 16’s Cody Calafiore and Derrick Levasseur. Cody was completely loyal to Derrick and his Hitmen alliance, and chose to sit next to him in the Final 2 instead of Victoria Rafaeli, whom he easily could’ve beaten. If Matt takes Jag to the end with him, it’s highly possible that Jag will win because of his incredible competition record this season. It will be difficult for Matt to turn on Jag, but it might be necessary in order for him to take home the $750,000 prize.

Big Brother season 25 airs Sundays at 10 p.m. EDT, Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EDT, and Thursdays at 9 p.m. EDT on CBS.
