Alley Mills plays Heather Webber without any boundaries.

Even before Alley Mills won the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Guest Performer in a Drama Series, General Hospital knew it had a winner and audience favorite on its hands. Soap Hub caught up with the actress on a red carpet earlier this month where the performer teased a potential return to Port Charles.

Alley Mills: Double Trouble

Mills was reunited with her daytime pals from both GH and Bold and the Beautiful (where she recurs as Pam Douglas) at the Daytime Emmys. When Soap Hub chatted with the actress prior to her win, The Wonder Years veteran hinted that we just might be seeing Heather again. “I’ve done some scenes [with Heather being] in prison but I think I might be…” teased Mills, giving a knowing smile as if to indicate we haven’t seen the last of Heather Webber. In fact, she airs today when Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) pays her mother a visit.

What might she do if she were to return to GH? “I’d be up to no good,” an in-character Mills offers. The actress was standing not far from Jeff Kober (Cyrus) while she as on the carpet. What might Heather do if she were to cross paths with that reformed (?) bad boy?

“Then, I can find the Lord,” Mills shrugs with a wry smile, remaining in character. “Then we can really do some ‘nice’ things.” Viewers will have to tune in to see if GH goes there with this pairing but Mills says of Kober, “I like him.”

Mills wasn’t the only GH winner at the 50th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. The ABC soap opera also took home statuettes for Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Directing Team, Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Drama Series: Actress (the late Sonya Eddy, who played Epiphany), Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Drama Series: Actor (Robert Gossett, who plays Marshall), and Outstanding Younger Performer in a Drama Series (Eden McCoy, Josslyn).
