Which Quartermaine cousin are you rooting for?

General Hospital spoilers for January 17, 2024, focus on finding, facing, and causing drama. You don’t want to miss this episode.

General Hospital Spoilers Highlights

It’s a known fact that the Nina (Cynthia Watros) secret revelation blew up in her face. Well, hers isn’t the only one. In addition, the fallout damaged Michael (Chad Duell) and his relationship with Willow (Kate MacMullen). She isn’t too happy with his choices. As a result, she’s been reassessing her life and her marriage.

On the other hand, it’s not clear how Ned’s (Wally Kurth) affected other than controlling Michael’s shares (refresh your memory on that secret pact here) — which is a big win for him. Guess it’s time for a reckoning. And it’s looking like Michael and Ned must gear up for a clash of the ELQ/Aurora titans. When the two face off, who will prevail?

Opposite Vibes

Speaking of Nina, she’s on the outs with most of Port Charles, which puts her firmly in desperation mode. For instance, she’s striking deals with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) to keep Sonny (Maurice) out of prison. And now Nina is about to drop a bombshell. Does she find out a secret she can leverage or win friends and family back? Like Michael and Dex (Evan Hofer) working together to bring down Sonny?

While Nina’s dropping bombshells, Carly (Laura Wright) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) are simply trying to find peace and comfort in their corner of the world. She’s mourning her mom’s death. He’s dealing with his post-prison PTSD. So it’s the perfect time for them to lean on each other as well as figure out a way to move on with their lives.

Panic and Malpractice

Another PC resident that’s in desperate mode is Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl). For one, she narrowly missed a stint in jail. Then, she found out Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) are headed to Paris together. Also, she has to pretend to be Good Esme, which is completely exhausting, by the way. Unsurprisingly, the young and sneaky diva is panicking with a capital P. Best advice: everybody needs to stay out of her way.

Finally, Finn (Michael Easton) and Liz (Rebecca Herbst) get to experience some good luck with this malpractice case. Fortunately, things take a slight turn when they come across a clue. How much will this clue help Finn’s potentially career-damaging lawsuit?
