Spoilers for “General Hospital” have been anticipating Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) return to Port Charles with much anticipation, just like everyone else. We have enjoyed conjecturing, and there will be plenty more to come.
We still have just as many, if not more, doubts about his character and its future after this Monday, March 4 episode.
Naturally, the show may take him in a lot of different ways, and we’re excited to watch his new plot develop.
You have the opportunity to go back and watch the episode if you haven’t before, but be advised that spoilers will be discussed.
Let’s get into in!
It’s Jacobs now
In a twist that isn’t as far fetched as it may seem, Jason is currently known as Jacobs to his cohort, who happened to be a sniper and “Jacobs” was his spotter.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers say was because “Jacobs” killed him to protect Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) after Dante was shot pursuing them. Granted, he was in shock at seeing “Jacobs” but it worked.
This also came after “Jacobs” pressed his partner’s arm as he was taking the show and had Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) dead to rights, begging the question on if he’s protecting Sonny of not?
This is where things are going to get interesting as it’s very possible that “Jacobs” is working for the WSB and Pikeman, but if he is, we assume his programming shorted out.
Sonny’s guardian angel
Assuming he was programmed after being dug out of Cassadine Island, we’re curious how ‘Jacobs’ broke free and fooled everyone to be Sonny’s guardian angel.
He could be the reason the shooter keeps missing Sonny, but if he is it’s only a matter of time until someone figures out he’s the reason.
But there’s another reason, and it could have to do directly with Sonny. Sonny could have a friend in high places and “Jacobs” may have been programmed to protect Sonny while adding him to Pikeman’s strike team.
It’s possible that Sonny’s secret guardian angel has goals for him to achieve and that the quickest way to achieve them is to keep him alive. In that case, the angel might not be an ally.
There are a lot of options here, and one of them is that “Jacobs” might still be Jason, who has been cooperating with everyone and waiting to defeat Sonny’s adversaries.
such’s more of a fairy tale conclusion, but Jason would merit a hero’s return in such scenario. What part does Jason play in Sonny’s life? Please share your thoughts in the comments section below, and return often to ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers for the most recent rumors, spoilers, and news.
