According to reports from General Hospital, Johnny Wactor’s (Brando Corbin) former fiancé made an emotional video about his murder after learning of his shooting death. Even though his mother Scarlett and his two brothers understand how she feels, they don’t necessarily require her to open up about the tragedy in public.
Scarlett revealed to TMZ that Tessa Farrell and Johnny had dated in the past but had lost contact at the time of his passing. The family had not communicated with her in at least two to three years, and they had not spoken. They don’t know why she has made her opinions so well known as a result.
Johnny Wactor Murdered At Age 37
According to the outlet “Tessa’s emotional plea for stricter laws in L.A. rings hollow for Scarlett, who tells us she believes Tessa is just clout-chasing — even though Tessa’s tearful video certainly seemed genuine. In fact, we spoke to her to get more detail about what she’d like to see change in L.A’s criminal justice system.”
Tessa indicated that she thinks that “letting low-level crooks back onto the street under L.A.’s zero-bail policy is a recipe for disaster, and in this case, tragedy.”
Johnny Wactor’s Mother Scarlett Speaks Out
She doubled down on her insistence that the authorities catch the suspects responsible for killing Johnny and makes it clear that she did not sympathize with them in her viral video.
In case you haven’t seen it, Tessa’s “tearfully spoke directly to the guy(s) who shot Johnny, saying she gets times are hard — but noted they could just get a job instead of ripping off catalytic converters and murdering people … a statement that rubbed some the wrong way.”
Tessa Farrell Was Johnny Wactor’s Former Fiancé
Johnny’s mom “says she wishes Tessa would stop using her son’s name for press, while pointing out that some of the things Tessa has mentioned — like the existence of surveillance video of the crime — is news to her.”
One thing is certain, and everyone can agree upon, the family is reeling after Johnny’s death and do not need any more upset.
Scarlett told the outlet that her son’s body will be flown to South Carolina where his family resides, and there are plans for a memorial for him in L.A. eventually.
The incident occurred as the suspects were stealing the catalytic converter from Johnny’s car, and no one has been taken into custody. Sources informed TMZ that the gunshot was particularly blatant and savage because it happened without warning.
Even more concerning: “Law enforcement sources say that out-of-towners even travel to Los Angeles to commit this specific crime, knowing that they will only face a slap on the wrist if they are caught.”
Regretfully, the sources said that “without some serious changes from the top, the police don’t expect this issue to get better.”
