“Jax is impossible to communicate with,” Brittany Cartwright lamented.
Jax Taylor has been adamant that he doesn’t “believe in divorce” — but wife Brittany Cartwright clearly doesn’t feel the same way.
Brittany confessed that she would “go down that path” in a conversation with Janet Caperna in a new preview clip of The Valley, Episode 11.
Brittany made the shocking comment after an epic fight between Jax and Brittany played out in front of their friends during a group trip to Big Bear Lake to celebrate Janet and Jason Caperna’s babymoon.
Will Jax and Brittany actually get divorced?
In the preview clip, Janet sat down with Brittany to rehash the fight and suggest the couple find a third party to help them navigate their marital issues.
Brittany acknowledged the fight was “awful.”
“Yeah, his delivery is wrong and super harsh,” Janet agreed. “Like, he can’t just come out and scream at you.”
Janet told her friend she believed the biggest problem in the marriage was that Jax and Brittany weren’t’ “communicating well” with each other.
“I care about you guys and I love you guys so much,” Janet said. “I want to see you guys in a better place.”
Why did Jax and Brittany split?
Brittany wholeheartedly agreed that communication was one of their biggest problems.
“Jax is impossible to communicate with,” she said. “I’ve had to deal with this for eight years.”
Janet gently encouraged Brittany to take action to try to address the problem before it got worse.
“It’s not going to get better on its own,” she told her. “It’s definitely getting worse and I don’t want to see you guys like, I know you guys don’t like believe in divorce and would never, even like go down that path but like—”
“Oh, we would go down that path,” Brittany assured her.
Brittany made the statement just one day after Jax insisted to Jason, Danny Booko, and Jesse Lally that divorce was something the couple would never consider.
“My wife and I love each other to death and we don’t believe in divorce, we don’t. We work through it,” he insisted.
Jax told his friends he believed the couple was just “going through a little bit of a hiccup.”
“We don’t believe in separation, we don’t believe in any of that,” he said. “My wife is going to have to bury me in the f-cking backyard. I will never go anywhere and she will never leave.”
Yet just months after filming wrapped, Brittany announced the couple was taking time apart to reevaluate the relationship. They are currently living apart.
