Farmer Will Simpson and Jess Cova were one of the most popular couples to find love on the 2022 season of Farmer Wants A Wife, wowing viewers with their gorgeous good looks, sunny smiles and easy rapport.

So, two years on, are they still together?

Fans of the popular reality show love don’t switch off their interest as soon as the cameras stop rolling each season.

They want to know: Who stays together, who splits up? Who is in it for the long haul and who discovers they aren’t that compatible after all?

Fortunately, viewers will be happy to know that Jess and Will are still together and still very much in love – although their relationship hasn’t been without its ups and downs.

What happened between Farmer Will and Jess?

The pair hit it off when Jess, originally from Queensland, took the plunge and tried her luck on season 12 of the hit show.

She fell for Farmer Will, eventually moving to his farm in Berriwillock, Victoria.

In March, the couple celebrated their two-year anniversary.

‘Celebrating two of the best years with you @jessicacova,’ Will shared in an adorable Instagram tribute.

‘We truly have a crazy story of how we met and our journey throughout the last two years has been nothing short of crazy and action-packed!

‘Our love and support for each other is a wonderful thing.

‘Let’s keep kicking goals and moving forward into our exciting future!’

Since falling in love with Will, Jess has mixed rural life with studying to become a registered mental health nurse.

In September last year, she proudly announced that she had finished residential school at The University of Queensland Toowoomba.

Amongst all this, the couple have managed to get away for the occasional weekend in Melbourne – and each time they post pictures on Instagram, fans are blown away by how happy they look together.

‘Love following your love story’, one fan wrote beneath a picture of the pair posing together.

‘You guys are just so cute.’

‘You just look so happy Jess,’ stated another.

What are Farmer Will and Jess doing now?

It seems Jess and Will’s busy life isn’t about to slow down any time soon.

Posting to Instagram about her ‘hectic’ week, Jess shared a carousel of images that showed her graduating from her Bachelor of Nursing degree from The University of Southern Queensland, going to the footy with Will, and wearing a leg brace after rupturing her ACL during a netball game.

On June 30, she shared a sun-soaked selfie with Will captioned: ‘Truly, madly, deeply’.

That prompted a number of Jess’s followers to urge Will to ‘put a ring on it’ after rumours began swirling earlier this year about a possible engagement.

‘Put a ring on her finger already Will!’ one follower begged.

‘Just marry her, hurry up man,’ advised another.

‘I thought this was an engagement post,’ wrote a third, to which Jess responded: ‘Bahaha I wish.’

So while it seems a wedding isn’t happening anytime soon, many fans were just happy to see the couple so in love.

‘I picked you guys from the start,’ one fan wrote.

‘So lovely to see you both going so strong years later.’

‘Love you guys, best wishes!’

Across on Farmer Will’s Instagram, he was also sharing the love.

Posting a happy night-time snap of the pair grinning for the camera, Jess’s arm slung around his shoulders, he wrote on June 19: ‘Letting the good times roll with the best.’

The couple’s two years together hasn’t been without its heartbreak, however.

Late in 2022, Jess’s beloved dachshund George died suddenly, just months after Jess moved with him from Queensland to regional Victoria to be with Will.

The following year, the couple took a major step in their relationship – adopting a fur baby together, another gorgeous sausage dog called Clyde.

As for the possibility of real babies down the track, Will said he was open to the idea.

‘We talk about it, and we’ve been talking about it lately haven’t we Jess?’ he told Now to Love late last year.

‘Just how we want our future to progress, like we do want a family, that’s sort of a non-negotiable, it’s just a matter of when and the timing of Jess’s career.’

One nuptial event that was set to take place – between Season 13 favourites Farmer Andrew Coleman and Claire Saunders – has sadly been put on hold.

Claire confirmed the news that their wedding had been cancelled in a shock Instagram post on Monday.

‘Andrew and I have had to cancel our wedding due to reasons out of our control, but we are both okay,’ she wrote, noting that she had gone to Darwin for the dry season.

‘I’m not sure what else to say other than, sometimes life is hard and we all just need a little breathing space.

‘There will be no farming content from me for the foreseeable future.’
