Big Brother 26 introduced America’s Veto early in the season, and Makensy Manbeck used her power in the most recent episode giving BB viewers the power to choose tomorrow’s replacement nominee. Throughout Big Brother 26, the houseguests have been aware of two powers floating through the game. Makensy won the upgrade of America’s Veto, allowing her to remove herself from the block and give America the power to put up the houseguest of their choosing. After a chaotic veto meeting where Tucker Des Lauriers took Angela Murray off the block, Makensy used her power after being named a replacement nominee.
Tucker, who was hoping that the Head Of Household Cedric Hodges would choose to nominate Quinn Martin, chose to remove Angela from the nomination block, leaving himself and Kenney Kelley up for eviction. While Cedric and Tucker were aware Quinn had the second upgrade power of the Deepfake HOH, Cedric chose to nominate Makensy rather than Quinn, blowing up Tucker’s plan. Once Makensy used her power, it activated America’s Vote and brought Big Brother viewers into the game to choose who they want to see sitting on the nomination block next to Tucker and Kenney during the live eviction episode.

Viewers Will Choose Big Brother 26’s Replacement Nominee
Although there are only 24 hours until the next Big Brother 26 live eviction, the vote will run for a short time between tonight’s episode and tomorrow morning. According to CBS, viewers can visit www.CBS.com/BBVOTE to cast their vote for the America’s Veto replacement nominee. The houseguest who receives the most votes will be the replacement nominee. Voting runs until Thursday, August 8 at 12 p.m. EDT/9 a.m. PDT. The votes will be tallied, and the replacement nominee will be announced during Thursday’s live episode. There is a maximum of 10 votes per person.

Although there are several houseguests who have been on and off the nomination block this week, there are only four houseguests who are ineligible to be the replacement nominee due to America’s Veto being played. Currently, Tucker and Kenney still sit on the nomination block and thus are ineligible to be nominated a second time. Cedric is the current Head Of Household, which means he is ineligible to be nominated as well. Angela, one of Cedric’s original nominations and the house target for most of the week, is also ineligible for nomination after the Veto was used to save her.

With four people ineligible to be nominated, who should Big Brother viewers choose to be the replacement nominee? Most Big Brother live feeders thoughts seem to be split between Quinn and Cam Sullivan-Brown. Quinn may be the easiest choice, as his power was kept a secret but spread throughout his many alliances which led to the blowup in the first place. Cam has been a passive player throughout the game, benefitting from alliances without contributing. There are other options, like Leah Peters or Joseph Rodriguez, and even though Big Brother viewers hold the power, they know to expect the unexpected.
