Things may go from bad to worse with Lulu’s situation.
Sam’s sacrifice may wind up being all for nothing after the twist on the October 21, 2024 episode of General Hospital.
Lulu’s Liver
Just when they thought Sam (Kelly Monaco) was able to save the day for Lulu, Terry (Cassandra James) broke the news to Laura (Genie Francis) and Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) that Lulu’s condition has changed. A blood clot near her liver could make the surgery risky, resulting in Lulu’s death, and the decision to do the transplant now lies in Sam’s hands.
Lucky immediately tracked down Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) and asked if he could perform the surgery. Despite Isaiah’s hesitation, after previously losing a patient on the operating table, he agreed to help his friend’s sister despite the major risk.

As for Sam, she met with the fathers of her children – Jason (Steve Burton) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) – at the Quartermaine Mansion to inform them of her plans to be Lulu’s donor. They both agreed she was doing a great thing, while Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) confided in Cody (Josh Kelly) about the unexpected turn of events that have left his current girlfriend being the only person who could save his ex-wife’s life.
Sam has yet to be informed about the update on Lulu’s condition, but that may change her plans to be the donor when she learns Lulu will die either way. If it doesn’t and she goes a long with the surgery, however, Sam’s fate may have already been foreshadowed on a previous episode of GH.
