Big Brother season 25 houseguests Cameron Hardin and Red Utley’s Final 2 alliance, The Chillers, was torn apart due to Red being manipulated by Jared Fields, but they have now reunited outside of the house. Cameron and Red had bonded because of their upbringings and the fact that they’re both dads.
However, when Jared became the Head of Household (HOH), he lied to Red, saying that Cameron had betrayed him in order to save himself. Red Utley was so upset that, instead of asking Cameron about it, he froze him out and ended the Chillers. Despite this, Cameron voted for Red to stay in the game, but he was still evicted that week.
After waiting until Day 100, he eventually discovered the truth and was able to reunite with Red. However, Cameron made it to the jury and won Americ a’s Favorite Houseguest, delaying their reunion. Since the end of the show, the two have spent some time together and Cameron shared two photographs of himself and Red outside of the Big Brother 25 house.
Cameron wrote, “One of my most frequently asked questions is about me and my buddy Red. YES! We talked, we are good, and we have lots in store for the future. Chillbillies are on the rise.” Red described himself as a “Chillbilly,” which he said is a cross between a hippie and a hillbilly.
Many Big Brother 25 fans were thrilled to see that Cameron and Red repaired their friendship and plan to work together in the future. They had some ideas for what that could look like. Instagram user Leahlaessig wrote, “Hopefully I am looking at a future Chillbilly Amazing Race victory!” Many other fans agreed that The Amazing Race would be perfect for Cameron and Red. Fan Jennaisjustjenn had another idea for Cameron, suggesting, “Cam, please be on The Challenge USA 3. You’d be perfect for that style of game play.” Another fan, Bruhmom93, said, “Would listen to a Chillbillie podcast every night…just sayin.”
Cameron and Red would be perfect for other reality competition shows. They are strong physical competitors, but they’re also very intelligent. They’re strategists who would do great things. Now that they’ve survived this test of their friendship, they’ll be stronger than ever together. They’re the newest Big Brother legends who would be perfect for an All-Stars season in the future. Whether they decide to team up for a podcast or to join the cast of another show at some point, Cameron and Red are sure to be very successful.
