The longest-running police television series is Blue Bloods. It has been one of the best shows on TV. The multigenerational family of cops runs their operations in New York. Throughout the series, we have watched the Reagan family maintain peace in the city while dealing with family issues.

Blue Bloods is an American police procedural drama television series that premiered on CBS in 2010. The family patriarch, Frank Reagan (played by Tom Selleck), is the Police Commissioner of New York City and the father of four adult children: Danny (played by Donnie Wahlberg), Erin (played by Bridget Moynahan), Jamie (played by Will Estes), and Joe ( who got killed in the starting). Other cast members are Henry Reagan (played by Len Cariou), Maria Baez ( played by Marisa Ramirez), Eddie Janko-Reagan ( played by Vanessa Ray) and more. Though no such official notice is made, it’s believed the series was suffering from a financial crisis. Since CBS has put significant budget cuts, including 25 % for above the live talent. The reason behind it can only be the financial situation. On Friday that the cast and producers agreed to salary reductions to keep the show going and keep hundreds of crew and other support personnel whose livelihood depends on it employed. So we can say the Road for Blue Bloods Season 14 renewal wasn’t easy. Many actors and producers have agreed to a smaller salary despite being the top series.

We can’t wait to pull a chair up to the Reagan family dinner table for another fantastic season.”

Blue Bloods have been Friday night’s no. 1 program with around 9.54 million viewers. The series is one of the top ten programs on Paramount+ & it ranked as the sixth most-viewed channel on Pluto TV in 2023. These are a few reasons why the series got renewed despite being late.
