Farmer Wants a Wife Australia 2024‘s Krissy Smith has revealed why Farmer Tom really dumped her twice during the finale.
We all saw Tom chase Krissy after dumping her to tell her what he enjoyed about their time together.
Whilst it looked like a nice gesture, Krissy revealed the true motives behind this move during her tell-all in episode 400 of the So Dramatic! podcast.
According to Krissy, the farmer’s initial dumping was a “sh*tshow”.
“When Tom started to talk, I knew straight away he wasn’t going to choose me because he was struggling to get his words out… It was so bad,” she told host Megan Pustetto.
She then filmed a voxie, which is an interview where reality stars speak casually to the cameras. However, she kept her emotions in because she didn’t want to seem “bitter”.
“I got in the car to leave, and I started crying because I thought that was my safe place,” she recalled.
“The next minute, our producer said, ‘You need to film that voxie again’, and they asked me all the same questions they already asked me.”
Farmer Wants a Wife’s Krissy says Tom dumped her TWICE to ‘save face’
Things got worse when they sent Tom back out, because Krissy thought he may have changed his mind about the dumping.
“I realised that he came to dump me again. And I hated it.”
Krissy then claimed Tom filmed with her again to “save face”, because he felt “guilty” for the way his initial dumping played out, and the producers wanted him to maintain his good edit.
“It was really horrible,” she finished.
Farmer Wants a Wife’s Krissy thought Tom would choose her because they were intimate throughout filming
Krissy also revealed that she was intimate with Tom throughout filming, leading her to believe she’d be his final pick.
“I had no reason to believe he wouldn’t pick me because Tom and I had an intimate relationship the whole time,” she said.
“I said to him, ‘As soon as you start to feel your heart move in multiple directions, I’ll need to pull back, and we’ll need to stop [being intimate] because it’s not fair’.
“He agreed with me at the time. So [when he dumped me], I thought, ‘Was I just this piece of meat, or what?’.
“That’s [why I felt] blindsided because the physical side never tapered off towards the end… It was a bit of a shock at the time.”
