A Piece Of Port Charles History
The actor joined General Hospital in 1996 as Jasper “Jax” Jacks, playing the role on and off until he was written off the show in 2021. Jax was paired with many of Port Charles’s leading ladies including Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer), Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil), Chloe Morgan (Tava Smiley), Skye Quartermaine (Robin Christopher), Courtney Matthews (Alicia Leigh Willis), and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). Often, he’d go head-to-head against mobster Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
In 2009, Carly gave birth to Jax’s daughter, Josslyn (Eden McCoy). Over the years Jax made many friends and enemies but it was withholding the fact that Sonny was alive and well in Nixon Falls that truly earned his ex-wife Carly’s wrath. Rademacher’s last episode aired on November 22, 2021. The actor filed a lawsuit against ABC for his dismissal based on religious leaning but the court ruled in favor of the network saying it was based on health fears in June of 2023.
