If General Hospital’s Damian Spinelli had his way, his beloved Maxie would realize he’s the only man for her, and there would be celebrations all around…much like the celebration being had by performer Bradford Anderson.
Happy Birthday, Bradford Anderson
And that’s because he was born on September 21, 1979, in Meredith, New Hampshire, which means that this much-beloved actor is turning 44 years old today! In his youth, Anderson performed in several theatrical productions, including the Laconia Street Car Comp any’s A Christmas Carol and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
After graduating from Inter-Lakes High School, Anderson honed his skills at the Tisch School of Performing Arts at New York University. In mid-2005, the budding thespian relocated to Los Angeles, where he quickly obtained work.
The actor’s TV debut was in an episode of Veronica Mars (which eventually became a recurring role), and he eventually appeared in programs like What About Brian and films such as American Pie Presents: Beta House, Carts, and Kissing Cousins.
Anderson made his first appearance as General Hospital’s Damian Spinelli (AKA The Jackal) on January 13, 2006. His obvious chemistry with almost every character he interacted with kept him around, especially once he was paired as pals with “Stone Cold” Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). He remained at the lone ABC soap for seven years — and even pulled double duty by playing the same character on the primetime series GH: Night Shift — before deciding to take his leave in order to pursue other acting opportunities.
Anderson has been married to Kiera Mickiewicz since April 2010. Together, the couple has welcomed two children: Juna Meredith (born July 18, 2011) and Finola Lee (born May 2, 2014).
