Lydia Look Disagrees The Assumptions
Recently, Lydia Look attended a Coastal Entertainment event. During that event, Lydia was asked if Selina would take over Sonny’s territory in the upcoming episodes of General Hospital. Look denied them and clarified that she adores Maurice and doesn’t want to replace him. She confirmed that it is hard for actors to play certain characters even if they’re not vested in the storyline. The actress added that fighting with Sonny wouldn’t be suitable for the storyline either. Lydia also mentioned that she looks forward to Sonny and Selena being great allies, only if the writers decide to.
Fans started to get concerned about the most prominent mobster, Sonny Corinthos. They think their favorite mob king is on his way to downfall as he seems to be getting soft since his stay in Nixon Falls. But Lydia counteracted this point and explained that every good character evolves, and Sonny, too, is evolving to the next stage of life. She added that one could not be killing people their entire life and that they must evolve even as a killer.
Possibilities Of Selina Becoming The Next Heir To The Mobster Throne
Because of Selina’s successful track record in investing, General Hospital viewers are excited about her potential as the future mafia queen. When she acquired stocks to become a major investor, she instilled these notions in the minds of her followers. Selina also started frequenting The Savoy to play poker and make money. The foreseen mob queen persuaded Sonny to introduce poker games to Port Charles, and ever since, she has been quite successful. Additionally, a few months earlier, through Gladys, Selina got a sizable ransom from Sasha’s bank account. She can therefore treat Sonny with the money she has amassed over the years.
While there are many hints about Selina taking over the mob world, Lydia Look hesitates to agree. Look also added that with the ongoing events in Port Charles, there has to be somebody to take over.
