Spoilers for General Hospital allege When Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) witnessed a guy in need being savagely assaulted in a waterfront alley, she was powerless to control herself. You would think she would know better than to get involved with criminals in that area of the city, but she was seen getting out of her car and pursuing the thugs away while unarmed.
She helped the injured guy back to his hotel room even after she realized he was Special Agent John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington), despite his repeated denials that he be seen at the hospital.
Jason Morgan Is Going To Have His Hands Full
Camping out in his hotel room with him to see him through the night might not have been what she planned on that evening, but they parted ways the next morning pleasantly surprised by the other side they’d seen in one another.
As their relationship shifts from contentious to more understanding and even flirtatious, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is going to have his hands full trying to protect Carly while keeping his lips zipped.
A Chance Meeting
The fact that Carly happened to run into Jagger and his assailants on the waterfront was pure coincidence, but she might not run into him quite as casually the next few times. He is aware of her workplace.
A few visits to Bobbie’s for coffee and a snack can develop into a longer chat that neither of them wants to end.
Carly and the fans might be unaware of Jagger’s true intentions as he grows more enamored with the criminal target he’s been stalking and using as leverage on Jason.
Leak Jagger Spies a Soul
Rumor has it Jagger is going to end up quite smitten with Carly. Do we smell a reboot coming on akin to that of Jagger and Jason fighting over Karen Wexler (Marie Wilson)? Certainly, Jagger is no contest when it comes to Carly’s chance to finally be with Jason — right? Think again!
The chemistry between these two is undeniable. Even the Carly/Jason diehard fans are finding it hard to wonder what that pairing might look like.
Jagger has only received a glimpse into Carly’s real life, but the more he learns, the more he’ll like what he sees — a real person, not just a criminal.
Jason Keeps His Lips Zipped
In the interest of preserving Carly’s safety, Jason will have no choice but to remain silent about his affiliation with Jagger. That’s going to put a real crimp in his plans to protect Carly if he can’t keep her away from Jagger without telling her the truth.
She usually doesn’t question Jason’s advise and trusts him to the point of being reckless. But this time, for the first time in a long time, he’s going to be helping her avoid the one thing that she wants and is finally feeling good about herself.
