According to General Hospital spoilers, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) encouraged Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to continue working behind the scenes with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) to trick Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) into believing something he wasn’t. Naturally, Carly is portraying this as a positive development for the don, but everyone is aware of how he feels about treachery and liars. Giving Michael such a strong push down the same road that claimed Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) life and the lives of countless others may have been a mistake on Carly’s part.
Is Michael really safe if he stays removed from the gunfire, or will this only lead to Sonny’s enemies catching on and realizing the mafioso’s son has stepped up to play their game? Michael might have more to contend with at home than in the field. When Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) finds out what he has agreed to, she’s not likely to be thrilled.
How Could Carly Spencer Cassadine Do This?
General Hospital spoilers state that Willow has been concentrating on recovering after a bone marrow transplant. It won’t be long before she arrives back at the Q gatehouse even if she might still be around the corner. Her return home, though, will undoubtedly be overshadowed by the news that Michael is working on a new project with the person he paid to assassinate his own father.
Having thought this was all behind them, Willow is bound to have questions — and Michael’s answers might leave her dumbfounded. She won’t believe what she’s hearing when she learns Michael is not only putting himself and their family at risk, but he’s doing it because his mother asked him to. Willow knows Carly never asks, she demands. But how could she?
Exclaim Willow Tait Is Dismayed
Willow’s perception of Carly is about to take a real beating. Willow isn’t going to flinch at believing Michael has a genuine concern for his family’s safety, but is he really the only option they have? Is he even the best option? Why is Carly so convinced that Michael knows how to manage the kind of problems Dex is bound to run into in the business? Michael has never worked for the mob and never wanted to. He doesn’t have that kind of expertise. Surely, there are better choices, even if it isn’t Brick (Stephen A. Smith). But when Willow takes her concerns to Carly and feels dismissed by her, despite her mother-in-law’s apologies, she’s going to walk away wondering what on Earth happened to her family while she was in the hospital.
Nina Reeves Plays On Willow Taiit’s Weakness
This will be the golden opportunity Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has been waiting for. Finally, Willow is going to be angry with Carly, and Nina will be right there, ready to scoop her up and wipe her tears away as she validates every bad thought of Sonny’s ex. Is playing Willow going to be harder than it was to get Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) to spill the beans on her faltering relationship with her bestie? Maybe.
Although Willow is a smart woman, when she feels mistreated by her husband and mother-in-law, she can feel desperate enough to turn to her biological mother for support. Naturally, once Nina’s SEC secret is also made public and Willow learns her own mother lied to her, her suffering will only get worse. Carly hasn’t done that, at least!
