Spoilers for General Hospital hint that Jeff Kober’s character Cyrus Renault persuaded a judge that he was no longer a threat to society due to his fragile health following a recent heart attack. Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt, the physician who treated Roger Howarth, said that Cyrus was too weak to hurt anyone. Austin was compelled to testify, of course, because Ava Jerome (Maura West) was being held captive by Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey), Cyrus’ goon.
Although Austin kept Adam Huss alive and discreetly nursed him back to health per Cyrus’s orders, Ava thinks she killed Nikolas Cassadine.
Nikolas Cassadine Is Alive And Well!
Because Nikolas is Cyrus’ nephew, Cyrus made sure to save him. Once Nikolas was well enough, he left the country. Nikolas still faces criminal charges in Port Charles for holding Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) hostage while she was pregnant with his baby.
Esme escaped and has no memory of what happened but Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) confirmed what Nikolas had done in exchange for immunity. Because of this, Nikolas’ mother Laura Collins (Genie Francis) believes that Nikolas needs her help and guidance.
Laura Collins Searched All Over Europe For Nikolas Cassadine
Laura didn’t know if Nikolas had been abducted against his will when he first vanished. Along with her spouse Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom), she took numerous trips throughout Europe, but she was unable to locate Nikolas for several weeks.
When Nikolas recovered enough to travel, Laura found that he had taken multiple withdrawals from a bank. Laura now knows that Nikolas is alive but doesn’t want to be found. Reluctantly, Laura has returned to Port Charles without Nikolas!
Cyrus Renault Knows More Than Laura Collins About Nikolas Cassadine!
Look for Cyrus to keep trying to win Laura’s approval now that he is out of prison. In light of this, expect him to tease Laura by revealing information about either his present location or his circumstances upon his initial disappearance.
He won’t be able to avoid informing Laura that he ordered Nikolas’ life be rescued after Ava almost killed. But this will only serve to trouble Laura even more. If Nikolas has cast his lot with Cyrus, is he beyond redemption.
