General Hospital Spoilers: Drew Will Save Sonny, But Will He Keep Carly In The Process?

According to General Hospital spoilers, life at Pentonville prison isn’t any better for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), even though he isn’t counting the days like he did when Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) was holding him captive.

The thought of assisting their girlfriend’s ex-husband, a career criminal, in pursuing a dangerous foe may not appeal to most men, but Drew finds that it passes the time. Even if he might emerge victorious from this, that doesn’t guarantee that he will be the one to win the girl.

Drew Cain Is Onto Cyrus Renault

In case it needs to be said, Drew never trusted Cyrus to begin with. But he’s a good guy. He’s the kind of guy who intervenes when someone is having a heart attack — even if that someone is the likes of Cyrus.

That may be more about saving his own soul than saving Cyrus’ life. Nonetheless, Cyrus has offered Drew some guidance during his time in Pentonville, but Drew has always felt that his advice must be laced with malintention. And he’d be right.

Leak the Warden Garten Comes Into Play

We can be quite certain that Warden Garten (Diahnna Nicole Baxter) is not a fan of Drew’s either since that we know she is involved in Cyrus’ scheme against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Will she have to act alarmed about the most recent incident, which left Drew battling for his life despite the fact that she probably played a part in making it happen?

How many clues will Sonny and Drew need to pursue before one of them points them toward the prison’s top administrator?

There is a rumor Drew has a sneaking suspicion that the information he has been told about the patients Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) saw at Pentonville won’t add up.

He just may be getting too close to figuring out where the corruption really lies and the warden could have taken matters into her own hands to silence him. Fortunately, Drew is going to survive this attack.

The Chips Always Fall In Sonny Corinthos’s Favor

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is plagued with guilt that harm continues to befall Drew all because he’s linked to her and she’s linked to Sonny. But forsaking Sonny isn’t an option or she would be putting her entire family on the mob chopping block.

Even still, if Drew’s unwavering concern for others begins to overshadow his do-gooder image, her allegiance may soon be called into doubt. After all, he has a child to return to.

At the same time, his humanitarian inclination can cause him to assume that taking the easiest route is best for everyone, even when doing so would mean losing Carly.

It would be simple to sever Carly from his life while claiming it is for her own good if he were behind bars. But is it?
