General Hospital spoilers and updates for the week of Monday, September 5-Friday, September 8 tease Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is trapped like a rat!

Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) delivers the bad news, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) interrogates Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has a warning.

Michael Corinthos Delivers Bad News

Following Sonny’s arrest at the Metro Court, Michael tells his mother the bad news in Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) kitchen. He will remark, “Mom, I have something to tell you.”

Despite being able to call Dex to warn him, Sonny wasn’t responding, and Carly had learned that the Feds were discussing about Sonny at the waterfront.

Dex managed to avoid being detained, but the rest of Sonny’s team wasn’t so lucky. As a result, Sonny was detained by more Feds in front of his loved ones.

It’s bad news for Sonny and his family because Carly had forewarned that if he was found out, his area would become vulnerable to intruders. Everyone is now a target as a result!

Dex Heller And Carly Spencer Interrogate Josslyn Jacks

The family’s nerves are frayed as Dex arrives and shortly after, Josslyn and she faces a family interrogation. Josslyn had been upset about Dex’s having had to work the job at the waterfront, which cancelled a concert date for which they had tickets. Carly had encouraged her to take another friend and use the other ticket, but Josslyn got pouty and instead went partying all night and got drunk.

She has no clue Sonny was arrested when Dex and Carly interrogate her, Dex telling her someone turned Sonny in, and Carly asking if it was her. Josslyn had done much complaining about Sonny and how he belonged behind bars previously.

More Suspicions

When Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) learns that Sonny has been taken into custody by the FBI, there are even more questions. The arrest was made in front of Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), Michael and his family, and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi).

Any of them could have phoned Dante because Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) had also been present; Michael obviously didn’t.

Dante barges into Aurora Media’s headquarters, where Michael is seated at his desk. Knowing that Michael had spent the better part of two years preparing to do so, Dante yells, “Did you turn our father over to the feds!”

Alexis Davis Has A Warning

Elsewhere, Alexis has a warning for Nina-she tells her that she is vulnerable and so are Sonny’s children, as a shot of a frightened Kristina at the Metro Court is shown.

That’s exactly right-anytime a mob boss is taken down, rivals swoop in for their territory and all their loved ones become targets.

Nina looks very nervous as Alexis explains how mob life and being involved with a mob boss works. Nina will have to learn how to watch her back, Kristina has had plenty of experience already.

Not This Time

In the meantime, the younger of the two (unnamed actor/character) snaps at the older one (unnamed actor/character) in the FBI headquarters where two agents are questioning Sonny without the assistance of counsel.

The younger agent snarls, “He’s not getting away this time,” obviously furious and they will be together all night.

Sonny is still sitting there, expressionless. He is wise enough to refrain from speaking without an attorney present.
