General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) might be a little Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorken) when it comes to eavesdropping.
While unlike Amy, Donna may not spread everything she’s heard all over the place, she might tell the people involved what she’s heard.
Donna Corinthos Is A Little Motor Mouth
As recently discussed by her older sisters Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) when celebrating Donna’s outstanding grades, Donna does have a tendency to be a bit motor mouth.
When Donna noted that she was talking less and listening more, Kristina brought up the subject of “motor mouth syndrome.” However, since Donna is spending more time listening and less time talking, it’s possible that she’s an eavesdropper and has heard tidbits about certain family members!
What if Donna overhears Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) threatening Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) over the SEC whistleblower situation that he’s using to control her access to Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen)?
What if she overhears that because of that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) went to jail and Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) lost her dad for a few months?
Donna Corinthos May Not Understand It All But She Understands Some-Confronts Her Stepmom?
Donna is unlikely to comprehend everything; for example, she won’t know what a “SEC” is, but she will see that Michael is harassing Nina because she is a tattletale, which is wrong.
Michael, who is limiting her access to Willow and the grandchildren, and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), who wants Nina to be a corporate spy, are blackmailing her over her careless err or!
Future GH spoilers suggest that when Nina’s secret unintentionally gets into the wrong hands or mouths, someone new will become involved. That someone new may be tiny Donna, who would likely interrogate her stepmother harshly.
If Donna hears Michael being a bully she won’t like that either and could have questions for him as well, and ask him why he’s being so mean.
If she interrupts and they both realize she’s overheard their argument, they’ll both realize she might tell daddy Sonny what she heard!
Nina Reeves Corinthos Has To Get Ahead Of This
Donna will also hear Nina’s saying it was an impulsive mistake, and Nina knows she’ll have to get ahead of this-it may be best for Nina to tell Sonny everything.
There’s still the blackmail from Ned, but if she tells Sonny about her impulsive mistake making the SEC report, and the blackmail from both Michael and Ned, he might forgive her.
She did it because she thought she would never have the opportunity to get to know her only surviving child, even though there were some extremely serious consequences for everyone.
Furthermore, she was only speaking the truth—Drew and Carly Spencer, played by Laura Wright, had engaged in insider trading, with him informing her of the merger and her purchasing a large amount of shares!
Thus, in a sense, Drew was also a tattleteller at the time it occurred, in addition to Nina.
