General Hospital spoilers reveal Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) made his opinion very clear to Laura Collins (Genie Francis) last week. She can’t go to Chechnya. He was firm about it. Laura didn’t take kindly to Austin’s unsolicited advice – especially such guidance coming from a stranger she barely knows.
Madame Mayor quickly corrected Austin and left, leaving Austin to question whether approaching her at all was the best course of action. He expressed his worries to Ava Jerome (Maura West), but it did nothing but fuel her anxiety. Ava and Austin may have to take some pretty extreme steps to make sure they never make it to Russia because Laura and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) are scheduled to leave soon.
Laura Collins Didn’t Take Kindly To Austin Gatlin Holt’s Advice
General Hospital spoilers show Laura has never been keen on unsolicited advice, but she usually takes it in stride and has an equally kind but snarky comment to deliver in response. This time around, she was serious —- and sounded as though she was chastising her grandson, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez). Instead, she was chastising a grown man – a doctor, at that – who was putting his foot in his mouth and inserting himself somewhere he didn’t belong. Laura doesn’t have time to bog herself down with worrying about why Austin has any interest in her travels right now, but she’s not going to forget about this when it becomes relevant later.
Hint Mr. And Mrs. Collins Pack Their Bags
Every open end has been closed by Laura. Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) has assumed her post; she is safe and protected in her capacity as mayor of Port Charles. Spencer and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) are getting ready for her departure. On board to assist her and Kevin are Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). She also made sure to visit her doctor before leaving town. What else is left to do but pack their luggage and head to the airport, in other words? But will anyone ever again see Kevin and Laura there?
Valentin Cassadine And Anna Devane Land In Chechnya, Alone
Valentin and Anna will be stunned to find themselves in Russia, alone. They are supposed to meet Kevin and Laura and guide them into Chechnya — as covertly as possible — using their WSB expertise. Instead, they will be met by no one. Left wondering what happened to Kevin and Laura — and sending Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) on a wild goose chase back in Port Charles trying to figure it out — they’re going to make the best of their circumstances.
Why couldn’t the Collins family board the aircraft? Something tells us that Austin will be just as aware of their location as Nikolas is. Valentin and Anna will decide to check in on the family property in Chechnya while they are there as hysteria breaks out back home. The only aspect of Laura’s plan that Austin and Mason Gatlin were unaware of was that Valentin and Anna would be traveling with them. Vanna will be one step ahead of the dodgy cousins as they interfere to make sure Laura and Kevin never leave town. Will this ruin Austin and Ava’s entire life?
