The Last Few Years Have Been Rough
The past several years have been difficult for Laura since shortly after her daughter Lulu was hurt in the head when the Floating Rib exploded, Lulu’s father was killed. And that happened soon after Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) made a comeback after pretending to be dead for a while.
When Lulu learned that, she was upset, and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) slapped him when he tried to mend fences with her.
There was even more family strife after Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) returned as their relationship broke down.
Nikolas had slept with Spencer’s ex-girlfriend Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and she gave birth to his baby Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay)-that tore Nikolas and Spencer apart.
All Her Grandchildren Plus A New One, None Of Her Children
Laura has all of her grandchildren including Nikolas’ two boys living in her house, Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) now living with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).
Rocco Falconeri (Finn Francis Carr) also lives there along with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and her son and daughter.
Charlotte’s stay with Dante and Sam may be temporary while Laura and her father, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) search for Nikolas.
Laura’s other grandson, Aiden Spencer (Enzo DeAngelis) lives with his mother Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and his half-brothers, Jake Spencer (Hudson West) with Cameron Webber (William Lipton) away at college.
So while Laura has all her grandchildren close Lucky’s keeping his distance, Lulu’s in a coma, and Nikolas is missing although he’s in a coma too.

Since Lulu fell unconscious, numerous developments in neurology might have taken place. She and Nikolas might both awaken at the same moment, and Laura might even put them in the same room!
