When Nina found out that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) had been shot, her worries only grew as she suspected that Sonny might have been the intended victim.
General Hospital rumours indicate that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) was successful in convincing Nina that it was probably an attempt to harm her, but as Nina learns how risky Sonny’s way of life is, her concern will only worsen.
She may question whether she wants to live in constant fear for the rest of her life as Sonny’s wife. Maybe Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) was right and she’s not cut out for being the woman Sonny needs by his side.
Sonny Actually is a Very Dangerous Man
Nina’s concerns about Sonny’s lifestyle are understandable, but they may lead her to make some decisions she’ll regret. As she spends more time with Eddie Maine/Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), she may start to question whether Sonny is really the right man for her, purely because she’s starting to think someone else’s husband could be.
There seems to be a pattern here. Meanwhile, Sonny will be dealing with his own issues, including Carly’s struggles and the constant hunt for who is trying to take him down.
He may not notice how much of Nina’s attention is going to Eddie. When Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) asked Sonny whether their plans for a small wedding had anything to do with concerns about being targeted on the big day, Sonny insisted the two matters had nothing to do with one another. But they will now.
GH Spoilers Leak Nina Pulls Away as Sonny Comforts Carly
Nina needs to be able to trust Sonny to protect her even in the most hazardous circumstances. What does it say about Nina’s knowledge of Sonny’s existence in reality that she is already debating whether she wants to live the rest of her life in danger with security constantly watching her?
Carly is struggling to pull together the $5 Million she owes the SEC. While Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) expressly warned against Sonny helping his ex out, that doesn’t mean he won’t find another way to do so that keeps his name off the check. Nina may not take it well that Sonny is willing to spend more on Carly than he did on her ring.
Eddie Opens Nina’s Eyes
As Sonny drifts in Carly’s direction, Nina will lick her wounds while continuing to butter Eddie up. The wedding plans will fall by the wayside as Nina starts to wonder whether she can trust that she would be safe sharing her life with this man.
Eddie is still struggling with his identity crisis, and Nina will find him to be a welcome distraction from all the chaos around her. As she and Eddie start to form a closer relationship, Nina is going to find herself falling for how carefree and safe Ned feels, in comparison to the constant drama and heartache of Sonny’s worth.
Eddie may seem like a reliable diversion for Nina, but he has issues of his own. He is under a lot of stress as a result of his mental health problems.
Given that he could suddenly realise who he really is, he might not be the ideal person for Nina to rely on during this trying time.
He was also capable of recalling Nina’s past actions. However, Eddie will give Nina a fresh outlook on life, which can make her question whether the mobster who captured her heart is worth all of this.
