General Hospital spoilers suggest Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is spiraling in the wake of Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) figuring out what she’s been up to. Ned wasn’t supposed to overhear Nina and Martin ‘Marty’ Grey (Michael E. Knight) talking about her being the SEC tipster, but alas, he did.
When Ned realized what Nina had done to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), he gloated in Nina’s face and vowed it would be the end of her and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Ned wasn’t going to try to avoid responsibility so easy, of course. He took a mistake step, fell into the Metro Court pool, injured his head, and is currently lying in wait in a coma. Nina is concerned that he will be ready to attack her as soon as he wakes up. Sonny cannot help but observe how nervous and disorganized his girl appears to be. What’s different now? Everything. Will she, however, have the guts to tell him directly?
Nina Reeves May Have Tried
Nina showed up at Sonny’s business ready to tell him everything. She knows that if he’s doomed to find out what she has done, it’s best that he hears it from her. But they were interrupted, as usual. Back at the hospital, everyone waited for an update on Ned’s condition, and Dr. T.J. Ashford (Tajh Bellow) made it clear that Ned could be out for a long time — they just don’t know. This may buy Nina some time, or at least she’ll fool herself into thinking so.
Tease Ned Quartermaine Will Wake Up — Confused
There is a rumor In a short while, Ned will awaken, but he won’t be completely himself. It is unclear what that signifies. Will he actually awaken believing that he is Eddie Maine, the famous rock star? Could he suddenly awaken, ask who Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) is, and declare that Lois Cerullo (Lesli Kay) is his wife? Whatever the case, it’s possible that he won’t remember what happened right before he fell into the pool. For now, Nina will be secure.
Sonny Corinthos Won’t Forgive Nina Reeves
Ned might not be the means by which Sonny learns the truth about what Nina has been up to and why she’s such a frazzled mess. But when he does find out what she has done to Carly, he’s going to put the pieces of the puzzle together for himself. Nina was only going to tell him when she thought he was about to find out anyway.
She preserved her secret, though, and prayed that it would be permanently gone in Ned’s memory after he awoke and seemed to have no intention of disclosing the information he’d forgotten about. She wasn’t going to tell Sonny the truth, in other words, because she believed he should know it, but rather because she didn’t want to “get caught.” Ouch. The don is not going to take kindly to it.
