General Hospital tease spoilers Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is a man who, at least for the moment, knows what he wants. In spite of his continued willingness to bear the blame for her crimes and go to jail, he is now moving on from his ex-wife, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), whom he has proposed to, will become his wife. He is unaware that Nina is the brains behind the target written on Carly’s back and that she will stop at nothing to make sure Carly disappears forever.
While it’s unlikely that Ava Jerome (Maura West) would turn on Nina unless it benefitted her directly, she’s also not going to want to be wrapped up in her gal pal’s drama when it all comes crashing down. That’s too bad since Avery Corinthos (Grace Scarola) overheard her mom and Nina talking shop about how to stick it to Mama Carly. Will Avery make sense of what she heard and run to her father with the news of his bride-to-be’s deception?
Nina Reeves Spoke Too Soon, Too Loudly
General Hospital spoilers show Ava stopped by the penthouse to drop Avery off with Sonny, her daughter was quick to pick up on the rock Nina was sort of trying to hide in the palm of her hand. Ava wasn’t eager to issue her congratulations. In fact, she thinks Nina is downright crazy for digging herself into this mess even deeper knowing that the truth is likely to come out at some point.
Still, she was supportive of her friend in her time of need. She tried her best to help her figure out how to get Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to turn on Carly — their best bet at getting her put away. But Avery could’ve been within earshot the entire time, and goodness knows those ladies don’t know how to keep their voices down.
Reveal Ava Jerome Suspects Avery Jerome-Corinthos Knows More Than She’s Letting On
Avery is eight years old, so let’s be reasonable. It’s unlikely that she really comprehended what Nina and Ava were saying, even if she did hear some of it. Could she, however, briefly summarize what she had heard so that Ava could worry if she had heard too much? Will Avery say something to Sonny so that he develops a similar level of mistrust for Ava and Nina? Ava should possibly strive to minimize the harm.
Avery Could Spill the Beans
Avery is thrilled to be Nina’s flower girl at his wedding because she adores her. She is thrilled that he would wed Nina. Therefore, any attempt she takes to tell him the truth could put a stop to it, which is definitely not what she wants. God willing, there are no wicked Jerome-meets-Corinthos bones in this young girl’s body. Even so, she might share some of what she heard with her father, which might be enough to prompt the don to start interrogating Nina.
