General Hospital spoilers hint that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), who earlier this year returned to Port Charles, was more stolid than ever.
Tracy has been a force to be feared ever since she returned to town, threatening Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and even using her own granddaughter Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) as a bargaining chip.
If her family had anticipated a change in her personality after the death of her beloved Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary), they were undoubtedly startled at how incorrect they had been.
Tracy Quartermaine has taken an interest in Deception!
Perhaps the strangest thing about Tracy’s return are her actions toward Brook Lynn. Before Tracy returned to town, Brook Lynn called her for help. Brook Lynn felt responsible for Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) suspension from the police force.
Worried that Chase would ultimately be fired, Brook Lynn implored Tracy to intervene in secret. Tracy did exactly that, but she then blackmailed Brook Lynn. She forced Brook Lynn to return to Deception, and asked her to spy for her there or she would tell Chase that the only reason he is back on the force is because of her.
What is the Deceptor?
Tracy wanted Brook Lynn to learn everything she could about The Deceptor, Deception’s newest product now under development. Although Tracy’s motives at first seemed to be evil, she eventually admitted that the Deceptor’s invention had been stolen, albeit she was unable to say from whom or whom she was aiding.
As viewers are aware, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) provided Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) the concept for the Deceptor and all of its details, even though he made it clear he didn’t want to claim credit or have his name associated with the creation.
Jackson Montgomery is coming Port Charles!
Martin seems to have a connection to Pine Valley, where Erica Kane (Susan Lucci) runs Enchantment, one of Deceptions biggest competitors. Jackson Montgomery (Walt Wiley) will soon be heading to Port Charles on behalf of Erica.
It seems quite likely that Jackson is the person Tracy is helping. But why would Tracy help Jackson, much less Erica? Perhaps now that she has mourned a suitable time, Tracy has been having an affair with the Pine Valley attorney! Although Trac y’s action appear to be suspect, perhaps she is doing it all out of love!
