General Hospital spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) are headed for a reunion, although neither of them would admit to it right now if we asked. It was clear to Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) that Sonny’s intention to figure out who reported Carly — and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) — to the SEC was motivated by more than just concern for his children.
He will always love Carly and would never want to see harm come her way. But it’s more than that. He wants to avenge her; he wants to right this wrong. Will he feel the same way when he finds out Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is the culprit lurking behind it all? For sure! That’s going to give him the best excuse to end their relationship and pursue the one he really wants with Carly. Will she come around? Most certainly, once she realizes he’s her way out of this mess.
Baby Mama Drama
One of the biggest problems for Nina has been Sonny’s ex-wife, Carly. The baby mama drama has only added to Nina’s stress levels, leaving her struggling to cope with just being in love with Sonny. She didn’t know it was going to be so hard to have everyone against them. But, perhaps the biggest issue is that Nina simply cannot handle the mob life. It is a lifestyle that demands secrecy, danger, and a taste for violence — elements that just aren’t compatible with Nina’s personality. As these issues continue to plague her, she just might find herself feeling like Sonny may not be worth all of this anyway.
Say Sonny Corinthos Isn’t in the Clear
Even though Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) abandoned his attempt to assassinate his father, Sonny is still in danger. Due to his friendship with Josslyn “Joss” Jacks (Eden McCoy), who will break the law and turn Sonny in herself, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is now trapped in the mob and waiting around Port Charles. Joss only needs access to the video on Dex’s phone to effectively kill Sonny and guarantee she has her man all to herself. Does she truly possess the guts to carry it out? Of course!
Carly Spencer And Sonny Corinthos Find A Way Out
With Sonny and Carly both facing federal prison, the best outcome for both of them will come via marriage — or so says Diane. When she suggests that marrying one another could give Sonny an out on testifying against Carly, they’ll both realize it will also secure Sonny’s territory — since Carly is familiar with running the business when he’s unavailable.
