General Hospital spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) are not on the same side as far as Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) goes.
Carly Will Learn Jason Is a Mercenary
Carly will, however, step up significantly for Jason once she learns the truth about his whereabouts for the previous two years.
Jason is probably hiding at the Quartermaine boathouse, and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) is the one who healed his gunshot wound, according to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
Naturally, Carly will want to check up on Jason to make sure he’s alright. She doesn’t know what to expect when she goes to see him, but he tells her he’s a hired killer who was ordered to kill Sonny and that he made sure Hamish Hampton (Chris Gann), the guy firing from the warehouse top, would miss.
Jason will also make sure that Carly knows that he didn’t shoot Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) either.
Jason trusts Carly implicitly, so he may admit to Carly that John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) is behind all this, and just like Carly went to Sonny about Jason being alive, she will likely go to him, and the two will concoct a plan.
Although Sonny may not like the idea, Carly could use her feminine wiles to rope John in. What man could resist her charms?
Carly may offer to pretend to be interested in John to set a trap. Sonny, in turn, will feel guilty for not believing Jason in the first place.
John and Carly’s First Encounter Wasn’t A Coincidence
The first encounter between Carly and John is w hen he “runs into her” outside Bobbie’s. He also mentioned to her that he used to work there.
probably had an agenda then. He could have learned where Carly worked and decided to try to chummy up with her to extract information about her ex, Sonny.
Turnabout is fair play. Now it looks like Carly is close to getting intel on John that she could potentially use against him, and you better believe the first person she’ll share the news with is Sonny.
Carly did say from the beginning that it wasn’t a sheer coincidence that John was an FBI agent with a craving for a burger.
It was the same story with John Brennan (Charles Mesure), except that Brennan was the head of the WSB and Pikeman.
But Sonny and Carly are still unaware of a larger part of the narrative. Maybe Brick, Sonny’s dependable sidekick (Stephen A. Smith), can learn more about John and his goals.
Sonny might learn all he needs to know fast to use it against John, or it could land him in big legal problems and result in his termination from his cozy FBI position.
Given that Carly is no longer with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), it would be great for Sonny and Carly to become closer during this period.
There will be a lovely and fulfilling CarSon reunion if GH fans get their wish, but not until they clear Jason of all charges and release him from John’s control.
