Spoilers for General Hospital indicate Each of My Children To reprise his retirement role as Jackson Montgomery, Attorney at Law, Walt Willey is traveling to Port Charles. For 12 years, AMC viewers have been impatiently waiting to find out what happened to Jackson. Soap opera fans are giddy with anticipation for this highly anticipated crossover. Jackson, who debuted in 1987, played a significant role in the serial opera until its cancellation in 2011. The show’s Prospect Park revival, which ran through 2013, did not feature Willey.

A successful attorney and district attorney, Jackson was involved in numerous high-profile storylines and relationships throughout the years. But who is he coming to Port Charles to rescue all these years later, and what has he been up to for the last decade or better?

General Hospital Spoilers — A Family Reunion

Willey’s crossover to GH will include a reunion with Finola Hughes, who portrayed Anna Devane on AMC from 2001 to 2003. Fans of both shows are anticipating exciting interactions between the two characters, as they shared memorable scenes during their time together on the previous show.

Aside from Finola Hughes, several other AMC alumni have made their way to Port Charles, such as Kimberly McCullough (Robin Scorpio), Michael E. Knight (Martin ‘Marty’ Grey), Cameron Mathison (Drew Ca in), Rebecca Budig (Hayden Barnes), and James Patrick Stuart (Valentin Cassadine).

Although these actors have portrayed new characters on the show, their presence adds to the excitement of Willey’s crossover.

Hint Anna Devane Could Need His Help

It’s most likely that Jackson is headed to Port Chuck to help out his old friend, Anna. While the WSB may have set her free last week, she’s by no means in the clear and she knows it. Her heartfelt conversation with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) lets us know just how lost, lonely, betrayed, and scared Anna must feel.

She can no longer conceal the truth about her past. She was a double agent, as everyone now knows, and she committed some horrific sins that she cannot undo. If Anna’s brief detention did not put an end to Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) reign of terror, then more is in store, and she will need a lawyer on her side who was there when she was and is familiar with judicial protocol.

Some Port Chuck Natives Also Need Legal Representation

It’s clear that Drew has already sought representation with Zeke Robinson (Gavin Houston), but Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) could find herself in need of representation soon, too.

If Sonny ends up entangled in her SEC mess as the Justice Department continues to target the people he loves as a means of getting to him, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) would have to focus her efforts on him — leaving Carly out in the hold.

Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), who is suing the WSB, might also require legal assistance. Because Kin Shriner told Soap Opera Digest that Scott Baldwin’s contract was not renewed, we know he must be leaving shortly. Does this imply that he will leave the stage right now, leaving Cody behind?

Although it is unclear for whom Jackson is traveling, we are happy that he is and cannot wait to see him. Which Jackson film scene is your favorite? Please share with us, and come back often to get the latest GH updates and spoilers.
