The Haunted Star explosion’s aftermath will contain a body, according to General Hospital (GH) teasers for the two weeks from May 8 to May 19. Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will worry that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) perished in the explosion during the week of May 8–12, but he will thankfully survive this tragedy.
It’s Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) who is most likely a goner since we know his departure is imminent.
The nightmare Victor’s unleashed will finally be over, so it’ll be time for everyone to head home to Port Charles soon enough.
In the meantime, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will push Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to stop the Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) takedown that he’s set in motion.
Michael will eventually make a crucial decision that catches Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) by surprise, so Dex may learn Michael’s decided not to turn Sonny in for his crimes after all.
When Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) arrives home, he’ll get updates on the insider trading fiasco and immediately confront Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth).
Drew will be so riled up that he punches Ned and launches a verbal attack as well.
Of course, Ned will maintain that he’s innocent and will try to convince Drew that there has to be another explanation.
GH fans know Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is behind the tip that caused all the SEC trouble for Drew and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), so she’ll continue to wrestle with guilt and anxiety.
Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will develop a theory that could lead to problems for Nina – at least if that theory involves pointing the finger at her.
Next, Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) will get back in the action just in time for Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) homecoming.
Although Taggert will issue a warning, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will continue to be incensed with Spencer because she believes he drew Trina into the commotion. Since Portia wants to make amends with Trina, trashing Spencer is the last thing she needs to do right now.
Once she joins him at the hospital, Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) will also experience a long-awaited reunion with Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay).
Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), who will be back in PC and prepared for the transplant, will have the opportunity to be Willow’s bone marrow donor.
Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will no doubt hope for an opportunity to patch things up with Liesl and get their relationship on track again.
During the week of May 15-19, Sonny will get a shock. Although Michael will apparently nix his plan for Sonny’s downfall, will his father still find out about it?
Then again, Sonny might be surprised if Michael comes to him and officially wants to bury the hatchet. It could leave Sonny taken aback over Michael’s change of heart.
Regardless, Dex will have some news that rattles Josslyn around this time. Without Michael’s takedown plot, Dex could be stuck in the mob indefinitely.
Josslyn will make a bold move when she visits Sonny with a plea later. Could Josslyn beg Sonny to let Dex out of the mob and act like he wants to leave for her sake?
Of course, there could be even more at stake if Sonny finds out Dex played dirty for Michael.
In that case, Josslyn might end up pleading for Dex’s life!
Back with Nina, she’ll show up at Carly’s place, so we have to consider the reason for this visit.
Nina might point out that she intends to stick to her vow of peace like she promised Willow.
It seems risky for Nina to spend more time than necessary with Carly.
Willow suggested Nina should leave Carly alone – and Nina may wish she had if she drops any hints that point to her SEC involvement.
Scott will also come up with a new pitch, so could that really be more of a proposal?
After everything that’s happened, maybe Scott will give a marriage proposal another shot and hope Liesl comes around.
Over with Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), she’ll face a setback while Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) tackles her greatest fear.
It looks like Sasha may have another on-air promotion that puts her mental health to the test.
Sasha may get tripped up a bit once she does a live demonstration for Deception, but GH spoilers say Cody Bell (Josh Bell) will play the hero.
We’ll see Cody come to someone’s rescue, so it’ll probably be Sasha who gets some help when she needs it most.
After Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) receives some romantic guidance, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) will get honest about where she stands.
Although Diane is crushing hard on Robert, she doesn’t want to compete with Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) and turn this into some big love triangle.
It turns out Holly will make a huge decision soon after, so she might decide to join Ethan Lovett (James Ryan) in Australia and eliminate the competition for Diane anyway.
As for Esme, she’ll get an exciting new offer and weigh her options carefully.
This could lead to a new job, so stay tuned to see if Esme will get a new way to support Ace.
Meanwhile, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will be thrown for a loop.
That could involve some news about Molly Lansing-Davis’ (Haley Pullos) potential fertility troubles since Molly will battle growing fears.
General Hospital spoilers say the next two weeks will bring some stunning moments and heartfelt reunions, so stick with the ABC soap.
