GH Spoilers: Nina’s Guilty Conscience Is Conditional, With No True Remorse

Every other day Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) cries as she plays the victim. And every other day, Nina reflects on what she’s done. She feels sorry (mainly for herself) for a short time, but then something comes over her (usually thoughts of Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright)). Then, as anyone can guess, she’s back at it with cruel intentions. This proves that Nina’s guilty conscience is conditional. Meaning, she only feels bad for the awful things she does when it’s convenient for herself.

There have been recent General Hospital spoilers that hint that Nina has already changed her mind. She is aware of the error of her ways. Nina didn’t feel any sorrow over harming Carly and Drew until she understood that doing so would also harm Willow and that she would be held responsible. Additionally, according to GH teasers, Nina once more reveals her true colors. In a subsequent scene, Nina tells Carly, “And to think I felt guilty,” to which the latter responds, “Guilty about what?” Nina seems to defend her actions and once more place the burden on Carly. For a brief moment, Nina felt horrible, but Carly is always to blame when Nina’s guilty conscience wavers. And we say that in jest with the intention of highlighting Nina’s plainly biased viewpoint.

So what makes Nina fall back on her guilt admission? What could Carly have possibly done this time to justify Nina’s cruel intentions?
