General Hospital Spoilers report Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is in dire straits. In need of a friend and with few to turn to, he called on Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) to help him out of his current mess – proving that Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) framed him as a jewel thief. Cody has been pretty set on turning over a new leaf and creating a new identity for himself since he landed in Port Charles. He may have had a few hiccups along the way – especially with that whole Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) mess — but he’s working hard to clean up his reputation and clear his allegedly good name. The starting point right now is making sure he doesn’t go to jail or collect a new rap sheet in Port Chuck. As Sam enlists Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) to help them make sure Cody doesn’t go to jail for something he didn’t do, questions may surface about the last time he went to jail for something he — allegedly — didn’t do.
Cody Bell Beckons Sam McCall
For some reason, Cody was confident that Sam would be there for him when he needed her. Sam wasn’t a big fan of Cody’s when he first moved to town, so this represents a significant shift in their relationship. She has since viewed him from a different perspective, and she doesn’t find it repulsive. Of course, we’re not suggesting that Sam and Cody are more than just buddies, but give it some time. There may be connections between two ex-con artists that we haven’t yet noticed. Furthermore, Sam is unaware that she is already in love with Dominic Zamprogna’s Dante Falconeri, a previous con artist.
Dante Falconeri Is Left In The Dark
Speaking of Dante, he will be entirely in the dark about what is going on between his best friend Cody, and his girlfriend Sam. General Hospital spoilers show Cody didn’t want to compromise Dante. Jokingly, he was willing to do so to Sam. But let’s be real, Sam is a private investigator, while Dante is a police officer. There are different rules to apply here. Still, while Sam, Spinelli, and Cody work on this case, Dante can’t know anything about it or he may have to tell his superiors.
The Truth Comes Out
Sam believed Spinelli would uncover something hot when we last saw her researching Cody’s criminal history. Wow, she was spot on! She had no idea, however, that it would have led to Dante, her own boyfriend. It sounds like Dante committed a crime when he and Cody were kids, and Cody got the blame. Will the investigation Spinelli conducts into Cody’s past and criminal history reveal the truth? Will Spinelli be honest with Sam, or will he confront Cody, Dante, or both and hope one of them will?
