GH Spoilers: Steve Burton Back To GH As Jason And Staying As Harris On DOOL?

According to General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Steve Burton may be returning to the program as Jason Morgan, but he may also serve as Wally Kurth.

Given that Steve appears on both General Hospital and Days of Our Lives, Wally predicted on a recent podcast that he would return to General Hospital shortly.

On Days Of Our Lives Now, But Maybe Back To GH

On the podcast, Wally said Steve is on Days of Our Lives now, but that he thought he’d be back on General Hospital as Jason soon.

On Days of Our Lives, Steve reprises his first soap opera role as Harris Michaels, a Navy Seal who has been brainwashed to basically be a hit man.

It’s very similar to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) having been brainwashed by Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy).

Wally also does double duty on Days of Our Lives as a lawyer, Justin Kiriakis there and as Ned Quartermaine/Eddie Maine on General Hospital. Because DOOL tapes six months ahead as opposed to six weeks ahead on GH, that would give time for Steve to play both roles if called back to play Jason.

Steve Burton And Wally Kurth Both Have Time For Extracurriculars

Playing two parts on two soaps is not a huge problem for Steve and Wally’s fans because they know they both have time for “extracurriculars” and are followed by fans outside of those who watch them on the soaps. In Wally’s case, he currently plays in a band called “The Day Players” with other Days of Our Lives actors.

“That’s Awesome” is the name of Steve’s show and the name of his tour with Damian Spinelli actor Bradford Anderson. The podcast comprises interviews with several cast members from the travelling comedy show conducted by Steve and Bradford.

Bradford must play the comedic role while Steve serves as the straight man, and the two of them once toured together as “Port Chuck” bandmates.

If Jason Morgan Returns It Will Probably Be A While

If Steve does play Jason again, it won’t be for a while—possibly during a November sweeps. Ratings and sweeps are significant because General Hospital is still broadcast and not merely available online like Days of Our Lives.

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) might have to make a decision if twin Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) spends the next three years, barring a miracle or overcrowding, in Pentonville Prison.

Will she forget about Drew or avoid going down that path again if Jason comes back to life? There could be a lot of intriguing possibilities!
