Felicity Newman will be left devastated by estranged husband Tane Parata’s decision to move on in upcoming Home and Away scenes.
The couple’s marriage crumbled after Tane discovered that Felicity had been lying to him about wanting to start a family while continuing to take her birth control pills. The discovery left Tane heartbroken, vowing to never forgive his wife for the betrayal.
In scenes airing next week for UK viewers, Felicity struggles to cope as Tane moves on by sleeping with another woman.
His actions also cause further friction between Felicity and Mackenzie Booth. Felicity sees Mackenzie’s decision to offer Tane a place to stay as a betrayal while she is still blocked from seeing him.
Their disagreement erupts in front of customers at Salt, which leads to Felicity storming out of the restaurant. Later on, she s tops by Mackenzie’s house to apologise for her outburst, leaving Tane’s wedding ring there as a sign of hope for their marriage.
However, Tane rejects the ring and apologises to Mackenzie for putting her in the middle of the conflict.
The next day sees Felicity continue with her attempts to contact Tane, leading to the gym owner blocking her number and throwing away his wedding ring after receiving a barrage of texts from her.
Later on, Mali attempts to support Tane through the break-up, as he admits that he still loves Felicity but also hates her at the same time.
Desperate to get his wife out of his system, he then heads on a night out before enjoying a one-night-stand – despite Mali’s disapproval.
Meanwhile, Felicity continues with her desperate attempts to reach Tane, being turned away from Mackenzie’s door after showing up in the middle of the night and begging to speak with her husband.
Felicity’s devastation only continues as she later overhears a conversation between Cash and Eden, learning that Mackenzie had told Cash that she was aware that Tane has been sleeping with other women.
Furious with her friend for keeping secrets, Felicity then confronts Mackenzie at Salt – with the ensuing argument causing Mack to collapse with chest pain.
