Home and Away spoilers follow for UK viewers.
Home and Away’s Tane Parata faces a dangerous showdown with Stevie Marlow’s stalker on UK screens next week.
Tane finds himself caught up in a high-stakes situation as Sidney tries to make his escape following his latest crime.
Sidney has been held on remand since trying to attack Stevie at her recent film event. However, upcoming episodes see him released when his trial collapses due to a legal technicality.
With Sidney still obsessed by thoughts of killing Stevie, he heads straight to Summer Bay to continue his evil mission.
Sidney fires a gunshot at Stevie while she’s filming a key scene for her romcom movie All Our Tomorrows on the beach.
The famous film star is rushed to hospital, where Bree Cameron and Levi Fowler are unable to save her.
As Sidney is still on the loose, many of the Summer Bay community take refuge at the Surf Club as they anxiously wait for updates.
Felicity Newman waits at home with the doors locked and blinds closed. She makes a call to Tane, who’s due to appear in court that day for the baby Poppy kidnapping case.
When Tane answers, Felicity warns him about the shooting and urges him to stay well away from the area.
While still on the phone, Tane spots Sidney behaving suspiciously nearby and realises that he’s the man who gunned down Stevie.
Sidney notices Tane looking at him and immediately takes off. Despite the danger, Tane bravely gives chase in the hope of apprehending him.
Felicity is terrified as the phone suddenly disconnects and she fears for Tane’s safety.
Tane manages to catch up to Sidney, who goes on the attack and knocks him over.
Soon afterwards, Felicity comes looking for Tane and is horrified to see him lying motionless near the beach.
Felicity is relieved when she reaches Tane and spots that he’s still alive, but it’s clear that he’s in no fit state to appear in court today.
What will this mean for Tane’s case?
