World of Wonder has officially released the trailer for their newest series, RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars. This version of the iconic franchise will premiere on August 16, exclusively on WOW Presents Plus. The show promises a stellar lineup of guest judges, including Adriana Lima, Danna Paola, Graham Norton, and Jasmine Tookes, who will join host RuPaul Charles, resident judge Michelle Visage, and director/choreographer Jamal Sims on the judging panel each week.
Fans worldwide can mark their calendars for the debut of RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars, with two episodes premiering on August 16. For viewers in Latin America, Brazil, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria, the series will be available on Paramount+ starting Tuesday, September 20. French audiences can catch the show the following day, with a Japan release slated for later this year.
The new series features 12 fan-favorite queens from various international editions of Drag Race. Each queen will represent her country in a bid to claim the title of “Queen of the Mothertucking World,” a grand prize of $200,000, and a prestigious spot in the International Pavilion at the Drag Race Hall of Fame. Competing queens include Alyssa Edwards (USA), Athena Likis (Belgium), Eva Le Queen (Philippines), Gala Varo (Mexico), Kitty Scott-Claus (UK), Kween Kong (Australia), Miranda Lebrão (Brazil), Nehellenia (Italy), Pythia (Canada), Soa de Muse (France), Tessa Testicle (Germany), and Vanity Vain (Sweden).
In a celebratory move, MTV and World of Wonder have partnered with All Out, an international organization advocating for LGBTQ+ rights. Together, they have pledged a $100,000 donation to establish a new fund supporting these crucial efforts. Fans can contribute to this cause by scanning the “Drag Saves the World” QR code displayed at the end of each episode.
RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars is produced by World of Wonder Productions, with Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato, Tom Campbell, Steve Kelly, Andrés Barragán, and RuPaul Charles serving as Executive Producers. The series is further bolstered by MTV Entertainment Studios, with Daniel Blau Rogge as Executive Producer and Julie Ha as Supervising Producer. Margaret Goodman takes on the role of Executive in Charge.
