Hear all about the Vanderpump Rules cast member’s incident at James’ massive gig with her friends.

Scheana Shay got herself into a slightly chaotic situation at Stagecoach music festival.

The Vanderpump Rules cast member took to her podcast, Scheanigans with Scheana, on May 3, where she revealed that she got escorted out by security after she tried to see fellow cast member and DJ, James Kennedy’s set. Leave it to Scheana, who attended the festival with husband, Brock Davies, to get into some shenanigans while supporting her friend.

How Scheana Shay Got Kicked Out of James’ Stagecoach Set

In the episode, co-hosted with The Valley’s Jasmine Goode, Scheana detailed exactly what happened. The mom of one, who had an artist’s wristband, was hanging out with James and her friends in his trailer before his set. The group entered the Honky Tonk with James, where they went right past security to a special spot near the stage. Brock grabbed Scheana’s phone and went up on stage with James, while Scheana stayed in the VIP area. That’s where things got out of hand.

“So we walk in, we’re all in the VIP area,” she said. “He does his intro, we’re dancing, we’re having fun. All of a sudden, security comes over….flashing their lights. [Like] ‘Where’s your wristband? Show us your wristband.'”

Scheana then proceeded to show them her wristband, but she required an extra special one to stand in that spot, which she didn’t have. “I was like, ‘I’m sorry.’ Like, my husband is on stage recording content right now,” she explained. “Someone I know is supposed to bring us those wristbands, but then it was his set time. So we’re like, oh, we’re just gonna go in. We got walked in. Maybe you should check your guy at the door who let us walk in.”

After the security guards “caused a scene” and threatened to cut off their wristbands, fans started recording the incident, which made Scheana want to leave. But, she refused to leave without talking to Brock. Luckily, she was able to get his attention and explain the situation to him.

“I was just like, we were let in, we were told to stand here and I’m not now that I have all of these cameras on me gonna get shoved into a crowd of fans,” she said. “I’m happy to go outside and take photos and meet people, but you’re not shoving me into that. So we left.”

Things got better for Scheana once she left James’ performance. After leaving the Honky Tonk, she was able to go see her friend, DJ Silver, play. But it’s not like Scheana hasn’t seen James perform before.

Aside from the mishap, according to Scheana’s Instagram account, they had a great time at Stagecoach. Scheana was able to meet Post Malone, hang out with friends including Lala Kent, and listen to as much country music as she could handle. Brock, on the other hand, got to film James’ set and hang out with him backstage, which he shared in posts to his own Instagram account.

James’ girlfriend, Ally Lewber, was also on hand to support her boyfriend, who took to Instagram after his performance to express his gratitude for the fans who came to see his performance. “Best feeling in the world!,” James wrote in the caption of an Instagram post. “The line for the Honky Tonk was insane, like, way outside the barricades!…I want to THANK everyone that waited out in the sun for ages! Especially the people who didn’t even get a chance to come inside, I hope we get a chance to meet one day. Love y’all so much.”
