RuPaul’s Drag Race, shantay (you stay)!

On 16 August, MTV and Paramount Plus greenlit new seasons for the popular US-based series, its All Stars spin-off, and their Untucked counterparts. This brings their respective season totals up to 17 and 10.

The most recent season of RuPaul’s Drag Race saw Nymphia Wind beat out Sapphira Crystal and Plane Jane to become America’s Next Drag Superstar.

With her sickening win, the banana activist became the first East Asian champion of the OG franchise.

Herstory was also made on season nine of All Stars when Angeria Paris VanMicahels won the first-ever charity-based season of the popular spin-off.

After 12 episodes of gagworthy challenges and drag excellence, she earned $231,500 for her selected charity, the National Black Justice Coalition.

While we still have months until season 17 and All Stars 10 arrive on our TV screens, fans have plenty of Drag Race content to sink their teeth into.
